Princess Connect! Re:Blog: How to Move DMM Games From C to Other Partition

Since Princess Connect Re:Dive global or english version is suddenly close their service on April 2023, many player that decide to move to Japan Server so they still can play the game.

Some of them are playing through Android, IOS, or even using PC via DMM, then we got question from some DMM players, how they move princess connect game data from drive C to other partition? and thats why in this blog post, I will try to give you guys tutorial about how to move it without re-downloading all the data, make sure you follow it step by step okay.

Tutorial Moving Princess Connect Game Data

Make sure you can see hidden folder in your explorer by turn it on in Control Panel > File Exploration Option > Tab "View" > choose "Show hidden files, folders, and drives"
If you done, now open princess connect game data in drive C:, usually it located in
C:\Users\<your PC name>\AppData\LocalLow\Cygames and the name is "PrincessConnectReDive"
If you already found Princess Connect game data folder, now move that folder to somewhere else you want, for this tutorial I will move princess connect game data to my D:/ partition, inside my game folder.
Now you need to open CMD and run it as administrator.
After you open it, now copy this text and paste it to CMD command.
mklink /J C:\Users\<Your pc name>\AppData\LocalLow\Cygames\PrincessConnectReDive <Your Princess Connect Data Location after moved>

in my case, it will be like this:
mklink /J C:\Users\mypc\AppData\LocalLow\Cygames\PrincessConnectReDive D:\game\PrincessConnectReDive

if you done, dont forget to press enter to run the command.
If it success it will be like this, and it will make folder link in the Cygames folder in C.
Now you can play the game like usual without having data in C:/
